Meaningful Use & Health Information Exchange

NYC REACH members are invited to join the learning collaborative from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

This learning collaborative will focus on continued participation in Meaningful Use and discussing best practices for utilizing Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs), also known as Qualified Entities, to improve population health.

Presentation topics by NYC REACH experts, representatives from the New York State Department of Health, a provider panel, and NYC Regional Health Information Organizations will include:

  • Meaningful Use MEIPASS and Stage 3 updates

  • Best practices for Health Information Exchange participation

  • Demos by New York City Regional Health Information Organizations

ACO leadership and management teams are invited to attend the collaborative and to the ACO Roundtable which begins at 12:30 PM and ends at 3:30 PM.

Following live demonstrations from each of the Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs), Accountable Care Organization leadership and management teams are invited to an afternoon roundtable discussion.

The afternoon session will include:

  • Presentations from each of the Regional Health Information Organizations to demonstrate their population health capabilities

  • A case study from a peer organization on the benefits of RHIO analytics for ACOs
